The Versys® 1000 SE LT+ motorcycle's advanced suspension system adapts to riding conditions, providing the ideal amount of damping in real-time. The system incorporates Showa's Skyhook EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) technology, carefully tuned by Kawasaki engineers to preserve a sporty riding character while delivering a smoother ride. EERA continually adapts to the road surface in real-time to enable light steering on highways and a more planted feel in wet conditions. Bluetooth® Smartphone Connectivity (using RIDEOLOGY THE APP*) connects you with your bike like never before, allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, and general settings.

With both touring and town riding in mind, the Versys® 1000 SE LT+ is tuned for flexibility making it just as comfortable cruising at low rpm as it is when ridden on winding roads in the mid-to high-rpm range. The liquid-cooled, DOHC 1,043cc engine offers superb throttle response, strong torque across the rpm range, and an enticing intake howl. Thanks to optimized fuel-injection settings, power delivery is linear and smooth for easy control and maneuverability at low rpm. Electronic Throttle Valves enable the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to control the volume of both fuel and air delivered to the engine, resulting in smooth, natural engine response and output. Electronic Cruise Control is made possible also by the Electronic Throttle Valves.
STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
Key enhancements bring Kawasaki's finest electronic management technology to the Versys® 1000 SE LT+ motorcycle, resulting in precise chassis orientation awareness that assists your ability to adapt to a wide range of street riding conditions. Compact IMU monitors inertia along 5 degrees of freedom. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse, and vertical axes, plus roll rate and pitch rate are measured. The yaw rate is calculated using Kawasaki's proprietary dynamic modeling software. Inputs from the IMU give the ECU software an even clearer real-time picture of chassis orientation. From the entry, through the apex, to the corner exit, KCMF modulates brake force (KIBS) and engine power (KTRC) to facilitate smooth transitions from acceleration to braking, to assist you in tracking your intended line through the corner.
SLEEK & COMFORTABLE
With a design that boasts flowing body lines traceable from front to rear, the Versys® 1000 SE LT+ motorcycle's styling highlights its fun, sporty nature while keeping rider and passenger comfort paramount. The design of the upper cowl and surrounding bodywork convey a strong Kawasaki identity while also providing functional benefits. Along with adding to the Versys® 1000 SE LT+ motorcycle's aggressive look, the upper cowling and wide fairings provide enhanced weather protection and comfort for longer rides. The front fender provides ample protection for the fork inner tubes, while long, slim reflectors combine to form a sporty look. A compact, short muffler contributes to a tight aesthetic and detailed finish. Connector pipes on the header connect 1-4 and 2-3 contributing to performance at all rpm.
